What is the correct procedure to legalize buildings built without proper paperwork?
According to Croatian Law, it’s possible to legalize all objects built between 12. February 1968. and 21. June 2011. who meet certain conditions according to Law.
To legalize a building (or more on a same parcel) you need:
- Check legalization costs and how much communal tax you have to pay
- Contact us to start the process and send your our quote
- If needed, we go to your property to make all necessary paperwork and give you the final statement about current condition of the building.
- You take that paperwork with you to local buildings office, after which officials will examine the documentation and check your building to see if it as described in the paperwork and if it meets legal conditions. If everything is OK you will receive a Statement about building condition which formally legalizes your building.
